You need to get a Visa for Syria directly from the Syrian Embassy in your country. The longest period you can get is for 6 Months. Buying a Visa at the airport is not allowed!

Important!! Take a multi-entry Visa.. visiting the neighbouring countries is extremely easy and with a multi-entry Visa you avoid any possible trouble at the border!

There are two networks in Syria: Syriatel and MTN;
However, their tariffs are exactly the same.
Getting a SIM card is extremely easy:

Go to any mobile shop with a copy of your passport
Ask for a SIM card
You will have to leave your fingerprint
